About Our Team Values

Our values are in the family. Phoenix Martial Arts provides a unique community unlike any other. We truly believe that when you are a part of the dojo you are a part of our family. We care about you as an individual and want to see you succeed both inside and outside of the dojo.

"A rising tide lifts all boats."

By goal setting, challenging and encouraging each other to have an "I CAN" attitude not only benefits ourselves but the community we are surrounded by. Together we can achieve anything!

About Us

Sensei Kris and Faith Munger are a husband/wife team who own and operate Phoenix Martial Arts and Fitness. Both are certified Black Belts with a combined 35 years of experience teaching the martial arts. Growing up in the martial arts, both had the opportunity to see what the "martial arts lifestyle" was and how it can make a huge positive influence in so many lives. Developing a deep passion for the martial arts and fitness, it became their dream individually and now as a family to share their experience and knowledge with others. In opening Phoenix Martial Arts & Fitness they wanted to focus on that martial arts lifestyle that they love so they have a large focus on keeping the dojo a safe, family friendly, non judgemental place where anyone can come in to improve their health, fitness and martial arts skills.
